2 h: RNA-seq performed under sporulation conditions in SK1 background. Overnight YPD cultures diluted to OD600 0.5 in pre-sporulation medium (SPS: 0.5% yeast extract, 1% peptone, 0.17% YNB, 1% potassium acetate, 0.5% ammonium sulfate, 1% glucose) for 16-18 h at 30°C. Washed and transferred to 1% potassium acetate (SPO medium) at OD600 1.9. Samples collected at 2 h post-transfer to SPO.
